Coaching

Coaching is a development process wherein an individual, known as a coach, provides guidance, support, and feedback to another individual or group, referred to as the coachee. The primary aim of coaching is to enhance the coachee’s performance, skills, and personal development, often in specific areas such as career advancement, leadership, or personal growth.

Coaching can take various forms, including one-on-one sessions, group coaching, or team coaching and can occur in diverse settings such as corporate environments, sports, education, and personal life. Unlike traditional teaching or mentoring, coaching focuses on facilitating self-discovery, helping individuals set and achieve goals, and developing strategies to overcome challenges. It is a collaborative process that encourages reflection, accountability, and action-oriented learning. Coaches typically use a variety of techniques, including questioning, active listening, and providing constructive feedback, to empower the coachee to maximize their potential and navigate their path more effectively.
