Europa League

The UEFA Europa League is an annual club football competition organized by the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA). It is the second-tier tournament in European football, ranking below the UEFA Champions League. The competition involves professional football clubs from across Europe, primarily those that do not qualify for the Champions League. It started in 1971 as the UEFA Cup and was rebranded to the UEFA Europa League in 2009. Teams compete in a series of knockout rounds, preceded by a group stage, with the ultimate goal of winning the trophy. The winner of the Europa League typically gains entry into the next season’s UEFA Champions League, as well as the UEFA Super Cup, where they compete against the Champions League winner. The tournament is known for its rich history and competitive matches, showcasing a diverse array of teams from different countries.
